Mission Statement
We are excited to introduce you to Regional Training Institute, a non-profit organization established in 2023 to provide high quality Emergency Medical Services (EMS) education at an affordable price.
The idea for RTI was born out of a pressing need for more trained professionals in the EMS field. A group of individuals, including John Lee Wills II, John Morrow, Leo Deason, and David Waid, came together to discuss how they could address this need by providing accessible and high-quality education for aspiring EMS professionals.
RTI's mission is simple: to put students first and ensure their success. To achieve this, we have formed partnerships with a reputable institution, Columbia Southern University. We have hired a team of dedicated professionals, including Christopher N. White, MD as our Medical Director.
Since our inception, we have worked tirelessly to offer a comprehensive curriculum that provides EMT, Advanced EMT, and Paramedic programs.
Program Expectations
Paramedic: "To prepare Paramedics who are competent in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains to enter the profession."
Program Accreditation
The Regional Training Institute Paramedic program has been issued a Letter of Review by the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).
Letter of Review is recognized by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) for eligibility to take the National Registry's Paramedic credentialing examination(s). However, it is NOT a guarantee of eventual accreditation.
