Learning Options

Hybrid Delivery Method

Students are encouraged to attend in person but will have the virtual option available. Regional Training Institute is offering a Paramedic Program in a Hybrid delivery method.

Program Structure

Program Overview

  • The program consists of three (3) semesters (one year); sixteen (16) week semesters
  • Classes will be scheduled using a mirrored method
  • All lectures will be available virtually or on campus

Class Schedule

Class Times

Days: Monday-Thursday
Time: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Flexible Attendance

Students must attend one day: either Monday or Tuesday
And either Wednesday or Thursday
Monday and Tuesday cover the same material, as do Wednesday and Thursday

Semester Schedule

Semesters 1 & 2

  • 12 weeks of lecture
  • 4 weeks of on campus skills
  • 6 weeks lecture, 2 weeks on campus, 6 weeks lecture, 2 weeks on campus

Semester 3

  • 8 weeks of lecture
  • 8 weeks of on campus scenario development as a paramedic
